Another NAFF Fly Swap is starting. The theme of this fly swap is A Favorite Fly.
A fly swap is an exchange of flys in which each tyer ties the number of flys as there are participants in the swap. The tyers gives their flys to a swap master who puts together packages of one each of the submitted flys and returns a package of flys to each participant. Each participant ends up with a fly tied by each of the other participants. You can see the results of last years fly swap on the NAFF web site: http://www.northarkansasflyfisher.org/FlySwapA.html
Sign up for the swap will close on Jan 31 and all flys must be turned into the swap master by March 1. There will room for up to 12 tyers in the swap. The flys will be returned in a NAFF fly box. Each tyer should also submit a recipe for the fly, tying instructions, and tips for fishing it. Mike Tipton is the swap master. Please contact him if you have questions michaeltipton@centurytel.net or 404-8845.
