Since sending out my weekly fishing report yesterday there has been a significant change in fishing conditions.The shad kill is on! They have been observed coming through Bull Shoals Dam. This has not been noted on Norfork tail waters at this time. The best flies to use will be white marabou jigs and streamers. Be sure to have sinking and floating patterns, though most of the action will be on the bottom. This area will get congested. Be cautious and courteous. I would suggest wearing your personal flotation device at all times.
