The 4th Annual NAFF Fly Swap will start in January. The theme of the fly swap is Caddis. Pick any caddis pattern that you like: nymph, emerger, soft hackle, or dry. For those of you who have never participated in a fly swap, each participant selects a fly to tie. He (she) ties as many copies of the fly as there are participants. He gives his flys to the swap master, along with the recipe and tips on fishing the fly. The swap master collates the flys and returns to each participant a set of all the flys that were tied and the collection fly recipes. In this case the flys will be returned in a custom NAFF flybox. Pictures of the flys and their recipes will be posted on the NAFF website.
This swap will have openings for 15 tyers. You will need to sign up by Saturday February 7. You can sign up at the NAFF meeting, at the up-coming Tie-In, or by email. You will need to get your flys to the swap master (Mike Tipton) by Sunday, March 7. He will have your set of flys for you at Sowbug. Or will mail them to you at that time
