This fall I took a class in web design at ASU. This was my first formal training in web design and web site maintenance. I also learned to use some tools that are fancier than those I had been using.
As a result of having the class and the new tools I am in the process of "improving" the web site. Some of the improvement are invisible to you. They make the site easier to maintain behind the scenes. Currently the most obvious changes that you can see are the "improved" menus on the site's header and on the left panel. As I make updates to the site these menus will be propogated to the other pages.
While I am at it, I would sure like comments on the site. What do you like and dislikes. What can do to improve it. In terms of usability, content, appearance, etc.
