I've been keeping an eye open and for a couple of days and last week I was getting reports of gulls diving on the water. Yesterday I checked it out and did indeed see some gulls diving up at the dam. This morning I was out at 7:30 am checking it out. At 9:00 am I drove through the state park and saw the gulls taking something off the water in the state park slough. I got in my boat and checked it out. Here are the pics I took. They aren't the best photos but here they are.
The bank at the state park was coated in shad this morning. My guess is these shad came through last night when 8 units were on.
